Overview
Rockman et cetera was established to undertake operational programs in formal education and informal learning, and to collaborate on educational research projects, develop research-based policy papers, and create learning resources. While the for-profit, Rockman et al, has focused on research, evaluation, and consulting, Rockman et cetera is designed to take on product development, programmatic initiatives, and operational efforts that are not within the scope of the for-profit company.
Rockman et cetera conducts its activities with funding from foundations and state and federal programs that will only fund not-for-profit entities, such as the Joyce Foundation and The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, or require programmatic design and implementation, such as projects for Supporting Our Sons and the Math-Science Network.
